OUR GOoDWORKS BLITZ WAS 7/26-29/2010

GOoDWorks is an organization started about 9 years ago by a member of LMPC (Brinkley Melvin) who wanted a way to help local folk with housing and other needs.
Sue Madden is the director.
So this was our 9th annual GOoDWorks Blitz.  We are working this week in honor of Sue's husband, Herman, who died three months ago. 
St. Peter's Lutheran Church is helping fix up a roof;  Our Lade of the Lake Catholic Church helped us Tuesday

Here are some of the projects we are working on this week (7/26-29 Mon- Thurs.) and then beyond...
1) The HUB Christian Community Center- 704 Meadowlark Rd. Chapin- Pressure washed 7.26; Need to paint; Cleaning floors; organizing; bathroom stalls put in; and more!

2) Sarah Meggett- 365 Meadowlark New Roof and new ceiling (owner in wheelchair)

3) Daniel Curry- Daniel has lung cancer- trailer on dirt rd. between Chapin High and Generations; wash trailer; put in deck with roof; paint trailer.

4) Cal and Addy Mars- 2nd trailer on left on dirt road behind chapin high softball field (off East Boundary)

5) Willie Greeley- 94 Ethel Ln. (Owner in wheelchair)- clearn roof, yard debris, bury electrical lines

6) GOoDWorks New Thrist Store- install posts; re-work bathroom;
