The Presbyterian Women offer three different "circles" (see below
for time and day) Each circle is a
great place for fellowship, Bible study, and missions work.
The newsletter or bulletin have specific information about where and when the
circles meet. At the bottom of this page is a list.
The women have annual gatherings at Christmas and in the Spring.
The women also have two big fund-raisers. A rummage sale in the Spring,
and a bazaar in the fall.
Birthday Offering- Began in 1922 on the tenth birthday of the PWs. Women
are urged to put a certain amount in according to their birthday to support
national and global mission projects. Offering is taken in May.
Betty Bobb Scholarship- in memory of Betty Abney Bobb who died
12/23/1992. Helps LMPC students who are attending Presbyterian USA
colleges/universities or seminary.

Blessing Box offering- A SC PW Offering for students going to seminary at Columiba Seminary in GA or Presbyterian College in Clinton.
Fellowship of the Least Coin- to work among Christian women in the world- this is an inter-denominational effort.
Thank Offering- Is set aside for hospital and health related programs overseas and in the USA.
Westminster Fellowship- our PW makes cookies and a meal for the PCUSA student association at USC,
Trinity Circle (Lunch- (Susan Powell) 2nd Weds. 12:00 at church

In addition to this, there are other
women's groups that meet:
The Knit Wits meet every Wednesday at 2:00 in
the fellowship hall- and welcomes any level of knitter.
The Quilting
Group meets- on occasion- see bulletin/newsletter for announcements.
Circle goals- to enlist every woman for Christ; to provide personal and group fellowship; to pray together; to study the Bible together; To invite each woman to serve God through use of her individual abilities; to bring persons into an awareness of support; to help those outside of the church to know Christ and bring them into the fellowship of the church.
